looking for source for content area reading

I have a student who is a seventh grader but has a reading comprehension level of about third grade. I want to find a good source for science, history, and religion materials that contain appropriate grade level content at a reading comprehension and vocabulary level of about third/fourth grade. Any suggestions of resources? Thank you.
